Carbon capture technology mainly recovers flue gas from gas-fired, coal-fired and other sources. Among them, PSA technology realizes separation based on the selective adsorption of CO₂ by adsorbents under different pressures. It is applied in power industry (flue gas of small and medium-sized power plants), iron and steel industry (tail gas such as blast furnace/converter gas), chemical industry (by-products of processes such as synthetic ammonia), natural gas treatment (decarbonization and purification), waste treatment (incineration/biomass flue gas) and other fields.

Its purpose is to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, which account for about 55% of greenhouse gases, to support the "dual carbon" goal. At the same time, it meets environmental protection regulations, reduces corporate environmental risks, and the captured CO₂ can be recycled.

The captured CO₂ has a wide range of uses, including increasing crude oil production in oil exploitation, preparing carbonate compounds and methanol in industry, serving as raw material for plant photosynthesis in agriculture, acting as protective gas for welding in metal processing, serving as calibration gas in medical and electronic industries, and being used for metallurgical purging.
